AB 953: Park and Open Space Districts (2001)
Summary
AB 953 (2001) provides that a park or open space district may exchange interests in real property (e.g., an easement) in addition to real property for the same purposes and with the same restrictions. The bill also increases the spending cap from $10,000 to $25,000 on non-bid contracts for maintenance supplies, materials and labor for the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District and the Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District.
