SUMMER INTERNSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT

State Senator Joe Simitian is seeking part-time volunteer interns for his district office in Palo Alto. Responsibilities include performing general office tasks (answering phones, filing, entering data, photocopying, etc.); reviewing and organizing press clips; assisting in responding to constituent concerns; conducting research; assisting with public events; and other special projects as needed.
Desirable qualifications include interest in state government; strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work both independently and collaboratively; the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment; a willing and eager attitude.
Internships are available for college students, as well as rising high school juniors and seniors.

  •       What is your availability?  Please include days of the week, times of day, and start and end dates.
