SB 614: Cruise Ships (2009)

Summary

Senate Bill 614 clarifies and extends certain provisions of the Clean Coast Act, which prohibits commercial vessels from discharging certain types of waste into California waters. SB 614 also extends requirements that a vessel owner or operator to notify the State if sewage is released into marine waters of the state or a marine sanctuary.
