SB 1191: Default Disclosure to Prospective Tenants (2012)
Senate Bill 1191 will require landlords to inform prospective tenants, before signing a lease, if the property has been scheduled for a foreclosure sale.
After the bill passed the Legislature, Senator Simitian sent a letter to the Governor urging his signature.
