SIMITIAN HOLDS SIDEWALK OFFICE HOURS IN REDWOOD CITY WITH THE REDWOOD CITY EDUCATION FOUNDATION

SACRAMENTO – Assemblyman Joe Simitian (D-Palo Alto) and the Redwood City Education Foundation will host sidewalk office hours in Redwood City on Saturday, May 11, from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M.  Simitian invites community members to visit and bring questions and ideas regarding state legislative issues.  The Redwood City Education Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides music education for students in the Redwood City School District, will also be on hand to share information and answer questions.

“I encourage folks who are interested in state and community issues to stop by,” said Simitian.  “This is a great opportunity to hear more about what’s happening in both Redwood City and the state as a whole.”

“We look forward to chatting with people who might be curious about the Foundation and its programs for students,” said Bruce Codding, President of the Redwood City Education Foundation.  “You can meet with your Assemblyman at the same time!”

Simitian served as the auctioneer for the Redwood City Education Foundation’s Jukebox Friday Night fundraiser in February, and said he was happy to share this opportunity to meet with the community.
