SIMITIAN INVITES CONSTITUENTS TO REDWOOD CITY TOWN HALL
PALO ALTO – State Senator Joe Simitian (D-Palo Alto) will hold a Town Hall meeting in Redwood City on Thursday, September 28. He invites residents to bring their questions, comments, and concerns about state government.
“Elected officials need to stay in touch with their constituents on a regular basis,” said Simitian. “I want to keep folks up to date with what I’m working on, and even more important, listen to them. A Town Hall is participatory democracy in its purest form.”
Simitian will also be on-hand after the Town Hall concludes to meet informally with the community. Light refreshments will be served.
