SIMITIAN INVITES CONSTITUENTS TO TOWN HALL MEETINGS
SACRAMENTO – State Senator Joe Simitian (D-Palo Alto) will hold Town Hall meetings in Palo Alto and Redwood City on Saturday, September 16 and Thursday, September 28, respectively. He invites residents to bring their questions, comments, and concerns about state government.
“Elected officials need to stay in touch with their constituents on a regular basis,” said Simitian. “I want to keep folks up to date with what I’m working on, and even more important, hear from the folks I represent. A Town Hall is participatory democracy in its purest form.”
Simitian will also be on-hand after the Town Hall meetings conclude to meet informally with the community. Light refreshments will be served.
