SIMITIAN TO HOLD SIDEWALK OFFICE HOURS
PALO ALTO – State Senator Joe Simitian (D-Palo Alto) announced today that he will hold “sidewalk office hours” on Sunday, September 25, 2005 in Campbell and Cupertino. Simitian once again invites community members to visit and bring questions and comments about state legislative issues.
Simitian said he is “particularly pleased” to host sidewalk office hours in Campbell and Cupertino, which are part of his new Senate District 11 constituency.
“It’s helpful to meet with folks face-to-face,” Simitian said. “Sidewalk office hours give both the public and me a chance to interact in an informal, friendly atmosphere. I want to know what my constituents are concerned about. This is an ideal way to keep in touch.”
Simitian will host his sidewalk office hours at the following locations:
Campbell Farmers’ Market:
Sunday, September 25, 9:30 – 11:00 AM
Campbell Avenue between Central Avenue and Second Street
Cupertino Golden Jubilee:
Sunday, September 25, 12:00 – 1:30 PM
City Center on Torre Avenue between Pacifica Drive and Rodrigues Street
