SB 1360: Cruise Ship Discharges (2012)

Summary

AB 2672 of 2004, authored by Senator Simitian during his tenure in the Assembly, protects California’s marine sanctuaries and beaches by prohibiting the release of waste from cruise ships and other large vessels into the marine waters of the state.  SB 1360 helps to expand and clarify those protections.
