SIMITIAN INVITES CONSTITUENTS TO SANTA CRUZ ICE CREAM SOCIAL
AND OPEN HOUSE
PALO ALTO – State Senator Joe Simitian (D-Palo Alto) announced today that he will hold his eighth annual Ice Cream Social and Open House on Thursday, May 24, from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at his office in Santa Cruz. He invites residents of the 11th State Senate District to drop in for informal conversation and ice cream.
Simitian and members of his district and Capitol staff will be on hand to meet with constituents. Ice cream by Marianne’s will be served. The event is free, and open to the public.
“The Open House helps me and my staff stay in touch with folks from Santa Cruz County,” said Simitian. “It gives us an opportunity to listen and respond to the community’s concerns, particularly during these challenging times. It’s also a great excuse to eat Marianne’s ice cream.”
