PALO ALTO – State Senator Joe Simitian (D-Palo Alto) announced today that he will hold “sidewalk office hours” in Palo Alto on Saturday, June 27. Simitian invites community members to visit and voice their questions and concerns about state issues.
“During these difficult times, it’s more important than ever for elected officials to listen to the people they represent,” said Simitian. “I want to make sure the folks I represent have an easy way to share their thoughts.”
Simitian holds his sidewalk office hours at local farmers’ markets. All questions are welcome, and no appointment is required.
“These events give both the public and me a chance to interact in an informal atmosphere,” Simitian added. “It’s tremendously helpful to hear first-hand what folks have on their minds.”
Simitian will host his Palo Alto sidewalk office hours on:
