PALO ALTO - Assemblyman Joe Simitian (D-Palo Alto) will be setting up shop this weekend for “Sidewalk Office Hours” at four different locations—Redwood City, Palo Alto, San Jose and San Carlos.
Simitian’s Sidewalk Office Hours have become so popular, he has increased the number of sites to accommodate the number of folks who come out for the event. This year, Simitian will conduct 25 separate events.
“I enjoy meeting people face-to-face. These events give both the public and me a chance to interact in an informal, friendly atmosphere. I want to know what people are talking about. This is an ideal way to keep in touch,” Simitian said.
The weekend locations for Assemblyman Simitian’s Sidewalk Office Hours are:
Redwood City
Saturday, August 23
10:00 am to 12:00 noon
Redwood City Kiwanis Farmers Market,
in the parking lot at Hamilton and Winslow Streets.
Palo Alto
Saturday, August 23

Palo Alto Festival of the Arts,
