WHAT’S A TYPICAL DAY FOR A STATE SENATOR? SIMITIAN TO SPEAK TO PALO ALTO HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS FRIDAY

PALO ALTO – State Senator Joe Simitian (D-Palo Alto) will speak to Palo Alto High School students on Friday about what it’s like to be a state Senator as part of the school’s annual Career Month Speaker Series.

Simitian, a graduate of Palo Alto High School, will meet and speak with students at 11:30 a.m. at the school’s library about his educational background, how he decided on his career path, and what a typical day is like in the life of a state legislator.

“I’m excited to be going back to my alma mater and sharing my enthusiasm for public service with students at Paly,” Simitian said.

Interested reporters or photographers should contact Simitian’s office in advance of the event so they can be escorted to the appropriate location on campus.
