PALO ALTO – Assemblyman Joe Simitian’s (D-Palo Alto) “Sidewalk Office Hours” has been announced for next weekend at five locations up and down the peninsula.
Because of its popularity, this is the fourth year Simitian has scheduled office hours in public locations.
“I enjoy meeting people face-to-face. These events give both the public and me a chance to interact in an informal, friendly atmosphere. I want to know what people are talking about. This is an ideal way to keep in touch,” Simitian said.
The locations for Assemblyman Simitian’s Sidewalk Office Hours are:
Saturday, June 26
Palo Alto - 9:00 am to 10:30 am
Palo Alto Farmers’ Market, behind the downtown post office at Hamilton and Gilman.
Redwood City - 11:00 am to 12:30 pm
Redwood City Farmers’ Market, Hamilton and Winslow Streets.
Sunday, June 27
Menlo Park - 9:30 am to 11:00 am
Menlo Park Farmers Market, in the parking area between
Crane and Chestnut Streets.
Los Altos - 11:30 am to 1:00 pm
In front of Citibank, 130 Main St.
San Carlos - 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm
San Carlos Library, 610 Elm St.
