AB 1650: Teacher Support and Development Act of 2003 (2003)


AB 1650 would have established the Teacher Support & Development Act of 2003 by consolidating and streamlining a number of existing K-12 teacher training programs into a formula-based block grant. Combining these funds into a block grant would have helped local school districts reduce administrative costs, address local needs and achieve better results with existing resources.
