Summary
AB 1945 (2002) protects the public interest by helping make sure that confidential information discussed in a confidential meeting remains confidential. Specifically, AB 1945 makes it explicitly unlawful to publicly disclose confidential information that is the basis for a local legislative body to meet in a legally held closed session pursuant to the Brown Act.
